90 Days to a Habit: Part 2
Good evening everyone! This time I actually planned to do this today so expect a little more effort than yesterdays post. I am just glad I am not feeling as rushed working on this and even got the time to journal to outline the post! Regardless, we have officially hit day 3 and I could not be hapier.
24 Hour Recap
Yesterday
Work was VERY boring and very light as well. However, it was nice to see everyone after the break and get to check on my 3D printers to make sure they are all working well. Honestly the highlight for the day was getting lunch with Riley at a local diner. I decided to try the monte cristo and it was SERIOUSLY amazing, not to mention the company was absolutely perfect as well.
After our little date I went to Friday Night Magic and drafted with the usual group. I ended the night going 1-2 overall with a green red earthbending deck.
Daily workout
I decided that the weekends should be more self paced exercises rather than a H.I.I.T workout and did 20 minutes on the rowing machine keeping my exertion levels at a 2-3 rather than the 5-8 for my usual H.I.I.T workout.
Therapy Exercise: Take a moment to breath
Take a moment to breath…seriously. With the looming end of the holiday break arriving soon I recommend everyone slow down and enjoy that last little bit you have left. Take a moment to stop and just breath for a bit.
Daily Rant: Maybe I need a Schedule?
Between the lunch date, work, and draft yesterday my schedule was A LOT tighter than I had anticipated and that lead to me neglecting the blog post for the day as well. This definitely made me reflect on my own schedule keeping and I think it is time I admit that I probably need to make one.
Personally I have always been anti-schedule, I kinda saw them as not necessary because I had never felt like I needed one. However, now that my schedule is a lot more set in stone and I am trying to manage both spontaneous and planned events, I really do feel like I need one.
So I sat down today and put one together with all my usual weekly items (including a nap!) and I am hoping I can use this to both help me keep my workout and blog posting goals in check.
Outro
So so soooooooo much better today than yesterday thank god!
Love y’all so much, see you tomorrow <3
